Use this alongside Informal acceleration lab ticker tape.

Use your own tape

The lab timer makes 60 dots per second, so every sixth dot represents 0.1 s. Measure positions from the marked start. Adjacent positions give interval ; divide by 0.1 s for . Plot interval velocities at midpoint times.

Fit and interpret

Use a smooth position–time fit supported by the data, then a –time fit. –time gives . Keep measurements, graphs and conclusions your own.
